PARTIAL DENTURES
Replace Multiple Missing Teeth While Keeping the Rest
A partial denture fills in the spaces created by several missing teeth while still relying on your remaining natural teeth for support. It's a removable, cost-effective solution that restores chewing ability, improves speech, and prevents remaining teeth from shifting.
Partials use precision clasps that attach to neighboring teeth, keeping the appliance secure while remaining easy to remove for cleaning. Dr. O'Sullivan custom-fits every partial to your unique mouth for maximum comfort.
- Replace multiple missing teeth in one arch
- Prevent remaining teeth from drifting
- Restore natural chewing & speaking ability
- Removable for easy nightly cleaning
- More affordable than multiple implants
FULL DENTURES
A Complete Smile Restored
Full dentures replace an entire arch (upper, lower, or both) of missing teeth. Modern dentures are crafted from high-quality acrylic and porcelain to closely replicate the look of natural teeth and healthy gum tissue.
Conventional dentures are fabricated and placed after the gums have fully healed following extractions (typically 8–12 weeks). Immediate dentures are placed the same day as extraction — Dr. O'Sullivan will advise which approach is right for your situation.
- Conventional full dentures (after healing)
- Immediate dentures (placed day of extraction)
- Implant-supported dentures for added stability
- Upper and/or lower arch replacement
- Custom color & shape matching for natural results

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get dentures?
The process typically involves 4–5 appointments over several weeks. Impressions are taken, try-in appointments ensure proper fit and appearance, and final adjustments are made after placement. Immediate dentures can be placed the same day as extraction.
How do I clean and care for my dentures?
Remove and rinse dentures after eating. Brush them daily with a soft-bristle brush and non-abrasive denture cleaner — avoid regular toothpaste, which can scratch. Soak overnight in a denture-soaking solution. Always handle over a folded towel to avoid breakage from drops.
Will I be able to eat normally with dentures?
There is an adjustment period of a few weeks. Start with soft foods cut into small pieces and gradually reintroduce firmer foods. With properly fitted dentures and a little practice, most patients eat comfortably — though some very hard or sticky foods may always be challenging.
How often should I have my dentures checked?
We recommend an annual exam even for full denture wearers. We check for proper fit, signs of oral tissue changes (including oral cancer screening), and can adjust or reline dentures as your jaw structure changes over time.
